UML's sales cycle moves fast — discovery to proposal in 48 hours is the target, proposal to signed contract in under a week on a good deal. The Sales Support Specialist owns that stretch: turning closed-won calls into shipped proposals and executed contracts using UML's admin console, keeping both /admin/leads and /admin/sales kanbans accurate, coordinating the handoff to delivery teams, and managing renewal cycles so upsell conversations happen on schedule rather than by accident.

What you'll do

  • Take every closed-won discovery and produce a polished proposal inside 48 hours using UML's Proposals module — the AI generator drafts the structure, you refine scope, commercial terms, and deliverables.
  • Convert accepted proposals to contracts in the Contracts module — correct legal language, GST-compliant invoicing terms, Razorpay payment link embedded where applicable.
  • Maintain /admin/leads and /admin/sales kanbans with surgical accuracy — 30+ active deals means one mis-tagged stage costs a deal or a renewal.
  • Run the discovery-to-delivery handoff: briefing document to project coordinators covering scope, client context, agreed deliverables, and go-live timeline.
  • Track renewal dates and upsell signals — flag accounts that are 60 days from renewal, surface usage or performance data that supports an upsell conversation.
  • Coordinate directly with HubSpot (CRM) for accounts that run their own pipeline alongside UML's admin console — no sync errors, no duplicate contacts.

What we look for

  • 2-4 years in sales operations, proposals, or deal-desk at a digital agency, SaaS company, or consulting firm — you have seen a sales org work and know what breaks it.
  • Can write a proposal independently: scope, deliverables, commercial terms, timeline. The AI drafts the bones; you make it accurate and persuasive.
  • GST-compliant invoicing fundamentals — you know the difference between a proforma and a tax invoice, and you do not have to ask.
  • Comfortable managing 30+ concurrent deals without a personal Gantt chart saving you — systematic CRM hygiene is the method.
  • Nice-to-have: HubSpot certifications (Sales Hub or Marketing Hub — either counts).
  • Nice-to-have: exposure to AI-assisted proposal tooling, whether Claude, GPT-4o, or a category-specific tool.
  • Nice-to-have: prior agency background in web development, digital marketing, or automation — you will onboard faster if "staging URL" and "sequence step" are already in your vocabulary.
